Positive test or evaporation line?

My AF is due on Tuesday. We had unprotected sex on the 22nd January. I have been feeling a little nauseous all week, so I decided to do a pregnancy test this eve. I gave it about 30 seconds after POAS and it was negative so went down to eat my dinner as it was on the table waiting for me! Also, I didn't expect to see a line as my period isn't due for 4 days. About 40 minutes later we went upstairs and dh brought the test to me and it had a feint, but definite, positive line.

Dh went on a couple of websites and he thinks that as it was after 10 minutes it is probably just an evaporation line.

Any opinions on this? It was a cheapy Tesco test if that makes any difference!

Hey cupoftea! I posted on another thread because I was reluctant to believe my tests were positive - I'm taking another one from a different brand tomorrow, just to be sure! - but if it all goes to plan we should be due around the same time. Go us! Congratulations!

Hi can anyone help, I'm on clomid so do believe that my cycles may shorten. My normal cycle is 34 days but have been advised it could possible shorten to normal 28. Hopefully...anyway Im on day 24 so decided to take a test. It showed negative, however a few hours later the bottom of the cross has started to appear. Could it be pregnancy or more likely a line?
