Question about "the show" - TMI warning...

I'm currently 40+5. Just had a horrid weird mucas but wasn't bloody - was more like (sorry ) the colour of snot.... is this a show?

I've had BHs since 4am - which I know aren't contractions, but I thught might be a sign.

Any advice would be great.

Mine wasn't bloody either and was about 6 hours after that that I started contractions.
