Anyone else due today?

Not really expecting anything to happen, although I hope it does!
What fun (but cheap, and probably at-home) things are you doing for distraction? Think my day will revolve around bouncing on ball and watching crap tv.

Did anyone drop yesterday? Hope we have some babies! :)

I've been having what I assume are contractions through the night: started at 7 minutes apart (coincidentally where the last lot left off) and now about 4 minutes apart.

Will see what happens - we had a disappointing day yesterday when we thought Baby was imminent and then it all just stopped.

No luck here....

Nada here, am sure once the contractions start I'll be wishing they hadn't, but I haven't even had one yet to whinge about! (skulks off grumpily to bounce on ball...)

How's everyone else?! Haven't heard from you in a while suzy - hoping this might be because you are cuddling your beautiful baby!

Hello ladies!

I'm now in proud posession of ... one baby! I went into the hospital with my contractions, was 1cm dilated, and the kindly midwife took pity on me and gave me a bed. After a few hours of contractions and no dilation, they realised I might need inducing ... and so they did!

26 hours was all worth it :) and once it's over, you forget that the wait even happened.

Hope it's all quiet here because you're all off contracting!

Hi all,
Just a quick update to say I am also in the possession of one baby girl!
I went into labour Thursday evening at 11.50pm, baby born at 2.45am friday at the midwifery unit, so it all went really quickly and took me a bit by surprise! By the time I got to the unit about 1am ish I was already 8cm!
I was supposed to be going for a sweep friday lunch time and was convinced that I would be going for it and then nothing would happen for a while so really glad it happened without any help.
Hope the rest of you have also had good news.
