Placenta moving from Anterior to Posterior?

Just wondered if anyone else has any experience of this...?

I was told my placenta was anterior high at my 20 week scan. I've had a growth scan today at 31 weeks and it now says on my notes that the placenta is posterior high.

Thanks in advance

I guess if it was almost fundal it might have moved around the top, or even around the side, depending on the position.. if you have a low lying placenta at 20 weeks they often rescan in later pregnancy to check if it has moved, so it's definitely possible.
I was told mine was anterior and towards the left at 20 weeks, and now, 9 weeks later I am fairly certain that it has moved because of the way the movements I can feel around that area have changed and don't feel cushioned anymore - also, my midwife picked up a lot of placental noises from there at 24 weeks, but not at the appointment yesterday.

There was a post a few days ago about placentas moving. Must say I'd never heard of it, and it slightly weirded me out, but yes, apparently they do move around. This lady had had bleeding as a result, but nobody was concerned.
