7 Wks pregnant. Morning sickness & tiredness suddenly gone

I have been suffering badly from nauseousness and extreme fatigue for the past 3 weeks. Have mostly spent my days sleeping or trying to force myself to eat. Suddenly today I feel like myself again. I feel energetic, happy etc. No problem with food and not overly tired today. Is this normal to have days when you feel completely fine in between the morning sickness?
Thanks :)

Hi,
For me that has been quite normal too. I was feeling smug until 6 wks when my nausea and sickness kicked in for about a week(over Christmas-grrr) then it subsided a little but then from 8 weeks I have been chucking up 10 times a day until now(11weeks).
I would try not to worry. Eat something nice now whilst you can and make the most of it, it seems like months since I woke up not feeling completely horrendous!
Just take each day at a time. If the sickness does return you'll need to. I hope you're lucky and you escape from it.

Don't worry, this happened to me with DD2.

I thought maybe my hormones would shoot up, I'd feel shit for a few days. Then they'd eveN out and I'd get used to it (a nausea free day or two) then shoot up again (cue more feeling like shit). Every time I thought my symptoms had gone they came back after a day or two...

In early pregnancy my symptoms would just come and go at random. Sometimes it got me really worried and then the symptoms would return with force and I missed the few days peace I'd had. I wouldn't worry too much :)

Don't worry! It's not just now. It's going to happen until the baby is born. Some days you will be superwoman and healthier than ever, other days you will want to curl up and cry because you ache so much and are so exhausted and nauseous.

I wasn't sick once when I was pregnant but I had the nausea a lot for the first 2 months and then it suddenly stopped.

Wow that has really calmed me down. Sounds like it's normal. Have to admit I'm not missing the nausea and tiredness. Have really enjoyed today. Here's to a good nights sleep and another good day tommorow.

I had the same worry. 8+5 today but lost most symptoms last week - I say most I have only have slight nausea and sore boobs but have neither now.

It does panic me.

Hey Vallinnapod,
Hows things going? I've started my 8th week now and i seem to be getting better each day this week. althought not totally myself I am definitly feeling better. Today I had same energy levels as my norm and could eat a lot of food. I really really hope this is normal. Wish we could have scans each week to settle our minds.

I posted a similar post as had the same thing...turns out I had 2days aa week where I felt ok but nausea always came back with a vengeance!!!

Enjoy it eat some yummy food and wait for the next onslaught!!! Either that or u could be lucky and your symptoms are already easing.....17 weeks in I wish the sickness would go away!!!

lollyheart · 05/02/2011 10:43

I'm also 7 weeks and have been feeling so tired and sick, which seems to be getting better, I had a scan on Thursday and saw a little baby with a strong heartbeat. So I quess it's just normal Smile

CrazyAlien06 · 05/02/2011 16:46

hey lollyheart how come you had a scan so early? I would love to have confirmation that I am pregnant , even though 4 tests confirmed it and im shattered lol.
