yes. i had one with dd. placenta tore away slightly, bleed could be seen on the scan, and i was loosing blood. 5 days bed rest, and all settled down, but i still went on bleeding off and on till 23 weeks. she's 9 now, so obviously it was ok in the end, but in those first few weeks there were so many times we thought it was all over.

i have also had to miscarriages, but at least now you know, a bleed doesn't always end in bad news. good luck with it all.

Oh I have everything crossed - I also m/c last yr so was so pleased to have hit 12 weeks and then this!! Thank you for giving me hope - so good to hear a positive story. I think the term threatened miscarriage sounds so scary - like it's a waiting game. Xx

I bled at 13 weeks with DD and had 2 days bed rest. Never had any more problems. Bleeding is very common and in most cases the pregnancy progresses normally. Your scan will shed more light on the situation, but try to relax as best you can til then. Best wishes for you. Smile

Another one here - I bled quite heavily on and off between 13 - 18 weeks. Also had cramps. DS is nearly 9 now Smile Hope all goes well - sending good wishes your way.

I started bleeding at 6 weeks and was told by emergency doctor is was a threatened MC, booked me for a scan at EPAU the next day but that nothing could change what was happening so just go home and wait. Scan showed tiny baby and yolk sac all weher they should be but would need to come back at 8 weeks for re-scan to see if there was a heartbeat. The longest 2 weeks of my life but 8 weeks scan showed baby was fine, heartbeat really strong.
Another scare at 10 weeks during a hospital stay for severe hyperemesis started bleeding again. This time scan showed baby absolutely fine and source of bleeding was small Haematoma (stil can't spell it) seperate to where baby is and nothing to worry about. Apparently they are very common and nobody knows why the occur but they go away on their own and do no harm to the baby.
I know not everybody has a positive outcome from these situations and that nothing makes the wait easier but just wanted you to know that if it is just light-ish bleeding with no cramping it not always bad news.
Thinking of you
xx

I am so happy for you! I hope the rest of your pregnancy is boring and uneventful.
