Hi ,

If anyone can help answer this for me that would be great!

Im 33weeks and my bump is rock hard ALL the time! It is beyond uncomfortable.

Its not BH I can tell when Im having those, but bump is just hard all the time now.

This is my 3rd pregnancy, and never had this with my other two.

when did this start? You may be carrying extra fluid. When is your next mw appt?

Hi

I had a scan last week , and will be seeing my MW on the 7th Feb, they had a look at my amniotic fluid last week and the deepest pool was 3.5cm , was told everything was looking good.

I cant get comfy because of it and Im driving myself crazy!

Ive been like this for just under a week now.

sounds like excess fluid to me. I carry excess fluid and it's so hard and uncomfortable it's painful. I sympathise.

If things have become unbearable since your last visit then I suggest you get in touch and say things have changed, you are worried and would like to be checked.

In the meantime, pop a little lavendar oil in a nice warm , deep deep bath and roll over so that you are leaning over the end with your bump completely submersed. It really does help to take the pressure off a bit. Stuff up the overflow with some blutack if the water tends to run away.

I am the same stage as you and am about to get into my filled bath right now, just waiting for it to cool a bit.

Thanks

I have been having loads of hot baths , because of the joy of backache.

I only feel sorry for my poor husband who has to listen to my moan about how uncomfortable I am all day long!!
