hello all,
Im currently 16 weeks and although I know I still have a long way to go I am now too big for regular work trousers as I have sprouted already with baby number three lol !

having thrown all my maternity stuff away 8 years ago ! I am now searching for really nice maternity work wear, in particular decent black trousers.

I ordered one pair from Dorothy parkins but they are a horrible material and a bit....well....yuk.

Anyone know any good places ? or can reccomend somewhere reasonable yet still fashionable lol !!

Debenhams Red Herring - lots of different styles so take a handful into changing rooms. My favourites are bootleg black with a shocking pink waist band lining...nit sure what the style is actually called but they have plenty of expansion features.

I think Gap do some nice material work trousers - I have a grey pair from there. I also have a plain black pair from seraphine that are good for work.

I have two pair from Mamas and Papas and like them for the most part. The price wasn't too bad either - £40 a pair. For something I wear several times a week for several months on end, I don't mind paying that.

They're the kind with the elastic in the wasteband that you can make bigger/smaller with the use of buttons. The material is very nice (you wouldn't know they were maternity trousers). The problem I find is that to have them at a comfy size for sitting down and I need to wear braces so that they don't fall off when I stand up! That's more likley due to my shape than the trousers themselves.

I have some nice smart trousers from GAP and M&P. Also some smart work things from M&S Autograph Maternity range.
