Anyone else feeling tired? Im 31 weeks now and struggling I get very little sleep and have a 5yr old to take to school and no help near by. Its getting to be a bit of a concern now and I have another 9 weeks to go!! And now I have come down with a cold. Its a mild one so far (had a horrible one before christmas)is anyone else feeling this way and struggling to get their kids up and off to school?

I am just pregnant with my first, but I just wanted to give you a ((hug)). I hope you get some sleep tonight.

yep!! Exactly same situation! Am more or less single parent DH away in army, and feel grateful if i get 3 hrs in a row at night, then DS up at 7am and thats when i want to sleep!!! Then have to get him off the DS game which is actually more tiring and draining than having little sleep Grin to get him to school! Am trying hard not to think about when baby here and very real chance of being up at 5am to feed and then drop back off to sleep for an hour then get up to do school run Confused

Hello there good luck with your first its the best thing you will ever do! Despite me moaning on about it! I loved being pregnant with my first and its a great time. Thanks for the hugs ((hugs)) right back at you!

Know how you feel. I get up at 6:30, get DS(3) to nursery, go to school and teach a full day, pick DS up, make his tea, bath him, put him to bed (although DH does bath/bed every 2nd night), fall into bed exhausted at about 9, take hours to get to sleep due to SPD pain, wake up 4 times to pee, start all over again at 6:30 a.m.

Repeat 5 days in a row, stumble through weekend in a ahze of tiredness, start all over again.

Am 34 wks, thank god I've only got 3 weeks to go at work.

DH pretends to be sympathetic and says he'll do more, but I think he thinks I'm putting it on and milking it. He really doesn't get how knackering it all is!

Thanks.

And you are almost there.

Oh Dear SarahScot that sounds very tiring!! Does DH not help out a bit more? I was married was with him for 15 yrs (got divorced 3 yrs ago) he did bits but I did most of it. I got fed up of it was always tired. He played games all night like a teenager I went to work like he did both full time but I did 95% of the housework as well. Glad I dont do that anymore! I hope your all ok. Getting a nights sleep is not going to happen now I think! Would not mind if I could sleep in the afternoon but neighbour bangs every day in his garden from 11 till about 4 its really annoying now!!! SO cant catch up on sleep.
