I've no idea but have same worries! MW and Dr both said that the head is engaged, but i keep feeling things down low - it must be little hands grabbing things! Sorry can't really help.. do you think you can you feel where the head is??

The midwife said to us the head is more like a tennis ball, whereas the bum is bigger and softer, and the foot has a hardish bit, whereas the hand is a lot softer, dont know if that helps any.

Have a good poke around and see if you can feel a head. How many weeks are you?

I'm unsure how to tell if it's a hand or foot unless you locate head, then guess by the way it moves. I seem to get hands rolling down my sides and feet twisting in my ribs.

33 weeks...am all front and all baby iyswim...I feel something bony to the left of my ribs, but cannot for the life of me tell if its the bum or head!

Have midwife on Wednesday and will see what the little bugger is up to then! lol

Hehe. Good luck! Mine has been head down since 28 weeks, I'm waiting for the lil monkey to decide to turn at the last minute, it would be just my luck! I'm 36+2

Lay on your back, take a deep breath and then poke around in your pelvis - if you can't wait until you see the mw.

Does you baby get hiccups? I feel them quite low down where it's chest is in this pregnancy (head down). In my previous pregnancy (breech) they were much higher up.

With DS, I could tell when he had hiccups - with this one, no...have just laid down and tried to feel where baby is but everything feels squashy...am too scared to push too hard as am not trained like midwife and besides, I am rather padded anyway Grin

Do feel like a turning/rolling sensation above cervix sometimes so maybe that's the head moving?

Its rather weird how the movements of this little 'un are so different to DS! I never expected such a difference!
