Have lots of cramps and nausea. But boobs not bigger, or more sensitive or darker in colour: completely normal infact. Sister adamant that the pregnancy is probably doomed. Terrified. Please help!

Have you had a positive pregnancy test then? Sorry, last I'd read it was negative.

Some women have lots of symptoms in pregnancy, some none at all. Lack of one particular symptom tells you nothing.

Yes! Sorry for not updating! Yes, took one last night, BFP. Cb Digi this morning 4-5 weeks. Over the moon! However, sister (who has3 lovely kids) keeps asking about the boobs! They are no different to normal. I keep thinking I'm going to lose it! ( the bean and my sanity!)

I am being reassured on the pg after mc thread that it's fine not to have sore boobs. Every pregnancy is different!

Calm down. It's very early days and you're going to drive yourself mad.

There are people that get to 9 months pregnant without even knowing. Most people won't have symptoms until they're a couple of weeks late (you're not even late are you?).

If you have a positive pregnancy test and no period then that's all you need to know. Some people still have periods when pregnant in fact. Others don't test positive even.

You are pregnant. No symptom or absence of it can tell you a thing beyond that. Take your folic acid and join your relevant antenatal group on here. Lots of people going throught the same thing.

I didn't get sore boobs, or even bigger boobs during my pregnancies, I am 6 weeks with number 3 and haven't got any boobs issues again. I have other symptoms so haven't got away with everything sadly.

Try not to worry, fear of losing a baby has always been present in the first 12 weeks with me then after the scan the fear eases but doesn't go completely. Try not to base your fear on symptom spotting as it will only drive you insane.
Hope all goes well and congratulations.

it's very early for any symptoms and sore boobs can come and go. good luck.

I am 15+3. So far my boobs are unchanged. I am in my normal bras. Once a while they have ached very slightly (not tender, big or painful). Scans at 6weeks and 12weeks fine - your sister is cracked and shouldn't be scaring you like this.

beckie90 · 30/01/2011 15:05

my boobs didnt get sore this time till way after 12 weeks, and some women dont even get them at all, its just different with every woman n every pregnancy. congratulations :)

Fantail · 30/01/2011 17:13

My boobs grew, but have never been sore or tender (am now 32 weeks). Everyone has different symptoms so don't worry if someone has one and you don't!

thefurryone · 30/01/2011 17:53

I'm 28 weeks, boobs have only grown a bit but have not been sore or tender once (well apart from the night when they grew a size!) and there has definitely been no change in shape or colour, try not to worry as others have said we're all different and so are our pregnancies.

Congratulations Smile
