...any takers? It's the one for hospital/ birth centre births, but I used it to prepare for a hosp birth and then a home birth.

I was going to list this on ebay, but in the interests of good karma I think it's really important that I give it away instead.

I'm sure that by now countless MNers have seen me relay on these pages how this CD transformed me from a gibbering, terrified wreck into to birthing powerhouse.

I cannot overemphasise how valuable I found this CD in both my pregnancies and labours, so I would like to pass it on to another pregnant woman, on one condition: that you pass it on in the same way when you've finished with it, and encourage the next owner to do the same.

If you have any questions about hypnobirthing there are thousands of posts about it on MN. IT WORKS! IMO the NHS could save thousands on maternity care if it gave these CDs away with the 'Bounty' pregnancy packs. So this is my way of hopefully starting a birthing revolution for every woman who my CD gets passed on to.

Best of luck with your births and babies!

Am interested. I'm 36 weeks is that too late to start preparing? You're very generous speedygonzalez and i promise to pass it on when i have finished with it.

SpeedyGonzalez · 29/01/2011 21:46

It's not too late, flowerfairy, and congratulations!

You're meant to listen I think about 30 times, so if I were you I'd try to listen to it twice a day to start with, to make sure you get the maximum benefit.

It is so brilliant, I really hope you find it helpful.

Just PM me with your preferred postal address and I'll send it first class on Monday.

Best of luck with your birth!

Hi speedy, i don't want or need it but wanted say hello.
I'm off to London to be hypno/neurolinguistic programmed to be thin though.
Good luck Paul Mckenna, you've got your work cut out.

flowerfairy · 29/01/2011 21:54

never dont this before PM you?

flowerfairy · 29/01/2011 22:00

TIS ok have worked it out now.

Am hoping this will help to make my dc#2 birth easier and shorter! Thanks again.Smile

SpeedyGonzalez · 29/01/2011 23:31

Hey dragonbutter, howya doing?! Must say you most certainly don't look like you need Paul McK's hypno treatment in your photo...unless you had a graphic designer do clever things with PhotoShop? Good luck, hope it does what you want it to do.

Got your message, fairy. Have CD right next to me and I'll post it first thing on Monday so fingers crossed you have lots of time to listen. Not sure it will make your birth shorter, probably DC2 will do that just fine by him/ herself! But I found that it helped me to manage the births amazingly well. Amazingly so. Also if you read the birth stories at the beginning of Ina May's Guide to Childbirth, I found them incredibly empowering - a good antidote to the negative images from our culture/ any negative memories you may have from birth no 1.

All the best!

Well, I've explained to husband already this morning it's not my weight that is the problem really, it's my height. Grin

flowerfairy · 30/01/2011 15:43

Thank you will await with baited breath! Then will be contacting you to let you know my outcome. THanks again

SpeedyGonzalez · 30/01/2011 19:23

Ahh, flowerfairy that's very sweet of you. Since you'll have a helluva lot on your hands I hope I'll be very low down on your list. So I shall expect to hear from you, let's see now...sometime next year? Grin

I would definitely love to hear how it all goes, but only when you have a minute to spare.

Arf at dragonbutter!
