MrsNoggin · 27/01/2011 21:24

About 25 weeks, I think. Am only just 20 weeksish this time round and getting antsy about doing it! It's very theraputic to pack and unpack and repack at least once a week...

neolara · 27/01/2011 21:24

About half an hour before we head off to the hospital at 37 weeks.

mrsnich84 · 27/01/2011 21:25

Im 26 weeks and am thinking about doing it - or at least starting! maybe its just the excitement making me impatient Grin

Pootle78 · 27/01/2011 21:39

37 weeks after hubby insisted, now 40 plus 1 and still got bits to pack that I forgot at 37!

Tokyotwist · 27/01/2011 21:49

35 weeks and only because i was nagged into it, baby came at 36.

PrincessScrumpy · 27/01/2011 22:10

33 weeks after dd tried to come at 32 weeks and I ended up in hospital for 3 days. Hospital staff were fab but told me when I was being discharged to get packed for next time.

Stangirl · 28/01/2011 17:46

Night before I went in for my ELCS.

Leilababyno1 · 28/01/2011 18:26

Do people really pack their hospital bag as early as 20/22 weeks??Confused

I am 27 weeks and haven't even thought about it yet?! Should I?!

babynelly2010 · 28/01/2011 18:40

I started at 30 weeks, at that pointed I had a bag and a list of things. I am 40 weeks tomorrow and still missing couple of things. It was a gradual process for me...

MerylStrop · 28/01/2011 18:41

same as nappy addict.

not so much packed a bag as sent dh to purchase after the event

cowboylover · 28/01/2011 18:50

I am 24 weeks and after a few hospital visits I have got a bag packed for me for overnight stays which has been useful so far and I think I will sort the one for baby and me in 5/6 weeks time.

littlebylittle · 28/01/2011 19:02

Packed mine at thirty six weeks. Then had friend with baby over at thirty eight weeks- she set me straight about what I really needed, re packed then went into labour that evening!!

sh77 · 28/01/2011 19:20

Am nearly 33 weeks and caanot bring myself to pack. ELCS 38 weeks. Will do it by 37 weeks.

pingusmumtoo · 28/01/2011 19:23

Didn't pack mine at all ... DP had to do it whilst I mooed like a cow - he was not impressed but DS was 4 weeks early. Hence it had a very odd variety of things in it ... he did remember put a babygro in tho !

theresapotatoundermysink · 28/01/2011 19:27

My OH did a few hours AFTER I gave birth Shock. And I was overdue so had no excuse ShockShock.

ipredicttrouble · 28/01/2011 19:28

About 35 weeks.

BabyValentine · 28/01/2011 19:31

Packed mine at 37 weeks when I realised I was in labour - doesn't take long if you have the main things already to hand. Wouldn't've dreamt of packing it at 20something weeks Shock - nowhere near organised enough!

MadAboutQuavers · 28/01/2011 19:36

35 weeks

DS came at 40 plus 3

midori1999 · 28/01/2011 23:34

I packed all of mine when in labour. In my last pregnancy I had it packed but still had to unpack and then re pack it, which is why I hadn't packed it the first three times!

I will pack when in labour again, it'll only take a few minutes.

YogaMummy2B · 29/01/2011 00:27

I'm 31 weeks and not packed yet. Don't have pram sorted or car seat or anywhere for baby to sleep yet either!!
I have a gorgeous excel spreadsheet created of everything I need to buy, what I need for hospital bag, what hubbie needs to bring etc.
I keep thinking it will keep me occupied for an hour or two when the big event kicks off!

Oneof4 · 29/01/2011 08:04

Keep putting it off for some reason (37 weeks). Probably reflects my mental state!

Antidote · 29/01/2011 08:29

Dh packed it while I sat on the loo bleeding at 36 weeks. I had decided not to pack it before then, but had a mental check list of what I wanted to take.

Luckily everything was fine, we came home, re packed the bag sensibly and used it again for real at 40 plus 10.

Mahraih · 29/01/2011 12:19

From 35 - 38 weeks, in stages. I now have to add 'going home clothes' and food.

It comes to two bags, which fit inside the Moses basket. Lots of stuff!
