i didn't think i was that big yet but...

just tried on the maternity pj top i ordered from next. i ordered in my normal size but when i tried it on it was really tight around bump already - i'm only 27 weeks! Shock
i've still got the big expansion of the third trimester to go so i returned them as there's no way they'll fit for the next 13 weeks!

what can you recommend? i'd like something i can order a larger bottom size in as i'm hippy.
i'll be in dh's pjs before long at this rate! Blush

Melba ones from NCT (discount for members). Not sure if you can get them as separates though.

I just bought some Primark separate tops and bottoms in a size bigger than normal. I'm now 38+ and they still fit fine; plus, they were so cheap that if I had grown out of them, I could have just bought another top in the next size. May be worth considering?

I have just got a pair of normal PJs from Next in a big size, they're great. I am 37 weeks, have also got £9.50 pjs from M&S in a size bigger, they're great too.

I got a pack of two nighties from mothercare, one of which is black so perfect for labour. They also button down far enough for post birth skin to skin and feeding. I also got some lovely stretchy bottoms and top from asda in one size larger than normal.

Though to be honest you may find your normal pjs will be fine - at 36 weeks I can still wear all my bottoms under bump, stealing OH's tshirts or wearing the longer ones I have. Same with knickers though, not sure if I've just been lucky!?
