WOO ALERT...anyone else drempt they were pg?

And is drempt a word? Confused

Have just tested pg (if it sticks will be dc2 though had mc prior to dc1...fingers crossed)

Am just shy of 5wks.

But a couple of weeks ago I drempt that a glowy midwife angel creature wooshed down and put glowyness in my abdomen.

Shock Grin

Am I the new Mother Shipton?

I didn't dream I was pg but I did have some dreams once expecting.

DS4 has medical probs which meant a lot of extra scans when I was expecting him. At 21 weeks 2 Consultant Obs scanned me for 30 mins and told me I was having a girl (pointed out womb and the like).

For the next 2 weeks I had dreams every night where I had a girl that turned into a boy. Then I had an amnio that confirmed he was a he and the dreams stopped completely.

I dream I am pg a LOT - but as it is rather impossible, i suspect it is more to do with consuming too much cheese before bed than any mystical powers Grin And possibly a little wishful thinking.?

about 5 years ago I dreamt I was pregnant with twin girls. I distinctly remember waking up and what I looked at and how it felt.
I was pregnant and miscarried a baby at 11 weeks. The other was a girl who is now 4.

Fullmoonfiend I thought it was wishfull thinking too (had only just started ttc) but now I know I am clearly psychic. Line up and I'll read your palms. [hmmm]

when i was pg with dc1, a hippy in a wafty-woo clothes shop told me she could tell the gender of an unborn child by the veins on my eyes and was Never Wrong!
She told me it was deffo a girl and that I would have 2 other dc, all girls...

I would go for dreamt. Or dreamed.Both are correct apparently.

I have dreamed that I was pregnant - I wasn't. I have also dreamed that other people were pregnant, when they were not.

Last night I had a dream that our car was doing 200 mph, following an unmarked police car (we got in trouble). Our car can't do 200mph.

Congratulations on your pregnancy - but I trust the stick-for-peeing-on better than the midwife angel - I thought midwives for for taking babies out :o

yes I dreamt I was pg :) - I saw my dad in my dream and he asked my sis if she had congratulated me on my good news. In the dream I was thinking what good news? A few days later, found out I was preg. With another pg, I saw lots of tiny little birds and animals in a garden. Didn't make sense at the time.

I also dreamt of my losses before they happened :(

But I LOVE your dream about the the light bearing angel MW. Beautiful.

Please let us know if there is light in your tummy.

Yes trillan I trust the wee on a stick more too...it's just a bit of fun. Smile

But yes, according to my dream midwives deliver at both ends of the pregnancy! SO that's a a fact. All you stork worshipers repent! Grin

My tummy is glowing as we type sh77! Glowing with crumpet based joy...!

I didn't dream about my mc but I did sort of kow before it happened. I just stopped feeling pg.

Did your dreams make your losses easier or harder to handle?

I think I felt a kind of comfort in sensing the mc rather than still wondering and hoping once it started iyswim.

Yup! I had a dream that I overheard my MIL and her friend talking about me.

In the dream, my MIL was staying at our house and was saying to her friend on the phone, in a disapproving way: "I looked in her cupboard, and I could see her pill packet. The silly girl hasn't been taking them! She is clearly trying to get pregnant!"

I did a pregnancy test the next day...

moon of course - sorry, i should have read your post in more detail. many congrats to baby light. at 32 weeks, my brain has stopped functioning!

well, my DD passed away a day after she was born. 2 weeks before, i dreamt i was sitting in a dark room breastfeeding my baby. i left her in the room for a short while and when i returned she wasn't there. it made me cry when i woke up but i just brushed it aside and didn't think anything bad could possibly happen as i was so close to giving birth. it was my first preg and i was naive.

BTW I named her Noor, which means light in Arabic :) Don't know the Arabic word for crumpet.

MC dream - i was in a jewellery shop and saw a beautiful gold ring in the window. went into the shop to search it. tried so so hard to find it but it wasn't there. it crossed my mind that that pg wouldn't work out either. a couple of weeks later, i had some sort of horrid dream and woke up thinking baby had died. started to bleed next day.

BUT, I have seen my DD in my dreams after she passed away and that really gave me comfort.

i heard that if you dream of someone dying then you are pregnant. with all 3 of mine i had a dream that a close family member had died when i was only a week or two pregnant.

Dreamt I was in labour one night, remembered how weird it is to be in so much pain and then nothing,in between contractions.
When I woke up I thought it was quite a cruel dream as we had recently stopped trying after 2 years TTC.
oh yes I was pregnant
