Hi
Im worried to death, im 5 weeks and iam feeling really dizzy and sick. My boobs have been killing but today seem OK and i cant keep awake. More worried about the dizziness than anything else.

Ive already got a 5year old, had two mis-miscarriages and 1 unconfirmed!, so really really trying to think positive, but im terrified!! no bleeding though or pains....

Anyone else the same??

I would say low blood pressure is the most likely cause. I have to be very careful as mine is really low. Or you may be anaemic which can cause dizziness too.

Hi tabs I get alot of dizzyness on all my pgs. It might be because of low iron, ask your doctor for a blood test I am going for one today too. (I am anemic anyway so I get this very bad and know the signs) May I ask is it when you stand up or are sat down and does it feel lightheaded, like you cant focus on anything and the room is spinning? If it is low iron it is no risk to the baby you will just need some iron tablets.

Agree with the other posters but would also add that I always get that during the first few weeks of pregnancy and it seems to be blood sugar related, or if I get too hot e.g in the shower. Later on in pregnancy it's iron related for me so I take iron tablets, but in the early weeks my iron has always been fine yet I've had dizzy spells.

Keep eating little and often and see if that helps?

Thanks M-T-B!!!

Its generally all the time at the moment TBH.
Really really trying not to panic given my history, but its hard, on a positive note though im very emotional ( more than normal!!) and my tummy has swollen loads and very sensative to smell... :)

Im going for a 6 week scan next week and have booked to see the midwife on Monday, can she refer you to have bloods or does it have to be the DR?

I was panicing (which im sure we all do) because ive read about eptopic pregnancies.. not that I have any other symptons, but I have been here before in other cases!!!

First time ive joined anything like this, its nice to know were all human!!

Thanks to you all xxxx

The mw will probably take bloods when you see her.

Good luck for your scan.
