pregnant too soon after mc?

I would really appreciate your opinion...

I had a mc (6-7 weeks) in early December, the consultant that operated the ercp said we could try after one period. AF came on December 31st and we did try indeed... and yesterday I had a BFP!

So excited and so terrified, is it too early? I'm under 4 weeks, as I have a short cycle (25 days, another worry though my GP had no clue about that).

Will my body be ready for this or I have too high chances to miscarry again?

Any personal experience or advice would be so welcome, lots of good wishes to all of you.

i had early m/c in april then had period 21 after m/c then bfp 22 days after that period, after that am currently 35 weeks

was meant to read 21 days after m/c!!

God what an appalling post i have typed can only blame it on severe lack of sleep last night due to restless leg syndrome. Basically No its not too soon!!!! Congratulations

I had a m/c at 6 weeks and was told to wait at least until next period before trying again, but some people said it was just so would be easier to date next pregnancy. I didn't wait and fell pregnant within 2 weeks. All was fine and ds is now nearly 3.

There may be health benefits to waiting a while but I wouldn't worry about falling pregnant quickly.

I had one AF between my m/c and gettng pregnant with DS (now 2) - not too soon at all. Enjoy :)

I had a miscarraige in mid February 2009 - was pregnant again at the beginning of April. Healthy and gorgeous ds had his first birthday today uneventful pregnancy and birth - all well.

Am currently 22 weeks pregnant again.

I had m/c at about 5w on 15 Aug - had to use this date to estimate conception of this pregnancy, as no AF in between. Gulp! Now 23+5. All the best x

I had an mc in early November, and am now pregnant again after 2nd period - I don't think there is any disadvantage to conceiving again quickly - we are just very lucky to be able to do so, so don't worry.

I had an ERPC at the end of Nov, waited for period, started trying again after Christmas and bingo pregnant already - we could hardly believe it. I'm sure I read somewhere something about rebound pregnancies - somethng to do with being extra fertile just after a mc (but don't quote me) and there are loads of posts all over MN of people who fell pregnant again really soon so sure we'll be ok.

Its early days but when are you due? I am due 26 September according to the MN calculator which makes me 5+5 today, but I'm already wondering how to get an early scan because last time I had a blighted ovum (as the consultant described it "the ultimate phantom pregnancy")so I won't really believe its real this time until I see something going on!

Its nice to have someone to tell as well because we're not telling anyone else for longer this time (I hated having to untell everyone) :-)

To add to the list...had mc in Aug 2010, got pg immediately after AF in early Sept 2010. Consultant was a tad surprised! Now 20 wks, no issues.

i had a mc at 7 weeks in oct 08 by nov 08 i got a BFP now i have a 17 month old dd fast asleep in her cot....

I had a mc at 7 weeks in April and got pg again within a fortnight. Am now 41 weeks and waiting... I have had a very easy pregnancy, my body didn't seem at all unable to cope with being pg so soon. So enjoy!
