In my family I'm known as a hypochondriac and (for better or worse) this means that I am slightly reluctant to go to the hospital for those 'niggly worried' moments.

I am due next Wednesday (my first) and the baby's movements seem to have slowed down quite a bit. It has just wriggled a bit but it's a bit more sluggish than the crazy movements of late. I find it hard to keep a 'kick' chart because the movements don't really feel like 'kicks' more like slow, stretchy yawns.

I have been feeling quite tired and very nauseous all day and just wondered if (if you were in my shoes) you would go to hospital for a check up?

My midwife is coming tomorrow but I keep just thinking 'better to be safe than sorry'

eeekkkkk

advice please!

Phone the hospital and ask what they think. They won't mind. It's probably nothing, just the baby having a quiet day, but as you say, better safe than sorry.
