Pressure on Pelvis - is this normal?

I am 10-11 weeks pregnant with my first child and in the past couple of days I have started feeling quite a strong pushing sensation in my pelvic/vaginal area. It's quite unnerving, although it doesn't hurt it does sort of ache and feel numb. I don't have any cramping or bleeding and I just wondered if others had experienced this. I have my booking in appointment on Friday but this is worrying me and I'm not sure who to turn to for advice before then (the midwife service just gas a mesage saying to call GP for any issue before 22 weeks).

24 weeks and same intermittent sensation. I think it's normal.... probably...hopefully!
