bleeding after sex?

Normal? I'm 21 weeks and there wasn't a huge amount of blood but it was there. Pretty sure it's nothing to worry about but thought I would canvas opinion from others :)

hiya, yea it can be normal, i had it in last pregnancy and this time too, it was quite alot this time, so went to labour suite and discoverd i had an erosion (cut) on cervix, due to the hormones in your body it apparantly becomes alot more prone to cuts and that in there because its delicate. phone your MW just to be sure though, as any bleeding should get checked out. hope everything is ok

Your cervix can become fairly swollen due to hormones and develops extra blood vessels to accommodate your increased blood flow and therefore can bleed from just a small prod or two Wink.

It is, as beckie said worth getting it checked with your midwife, but don't worry too much until then. Hope you're alright! Smile
