I am 19 weeks pg with my second.
For many years I have suffered with bad skin (possible rosacea). I have tried many many skincare products but the only thing that really works is antibiotics either in topical ointment or better still tablet form.

I was always under the impression that you can't have AB's when pg but wondered if anyone could tell me if it would be ok if it's topical? I am becoming severely down about the state of my skin so much so I have stopped looking in the mirror to do my hair etc. Sad

I don't want to waste GP's time if the answer is a definite no. Help.

there are AB's that you can take in pg - definitey speak to your GP as your pg may well affect your existing skin condition. Congrats BTW

Topical antibiotics are fine - used them all the way through last pregnancy.

Thanks for replies and sorry about being so tardy with it.

I'll make an app with gp. Annoyed I didn't ask sooner.
