Baby Shops Central London

Are there any lovely shops in Central London that are worth a look for clothes toys etc. Something a bit different, unusual (not your run of the mill Mothercare etc). Am thinking more Peppermint or similar.

Have everything I need, but it's my last trip to town for a while before DS makes an appearance and would e nice to have a browse.

Going to Covent Garden/Soho but can go anywhere really.

There are a couple in Marylebone - one just behind M&S (opp Selfridges) on Orchard Street, another on a road (Paddington St?) just off Marylebone High St (with Pain Quotidien on the corner). Sorry am crap at road names. There is also a White Company on M'bone High St and a couple of other shops that sell baby bits.

Have no idea what Peppermint is, sorry

not that central but was in chelsea area today and saw a lovely shop called neverneverland has loads of wooden toys, different things than the typical plastic argos/mothercare toys, clothes in the shop too. i think it would be worth a look, i wanted to browse it so much more but had 2 year old with me trying to grab everything so couldn't look as much as i wanted but it was very nice and pretty big

Bonpoint London
197 Westbourne Grove
Notting Hill, London, W11 2SB
Phone: 020 7792 2515

It's supposed to be nice. Mainly fashion and quite expensive.

Depends on your budget. Bonpoint, Tartine et Chocolat and Marie Chantal have gorgeous stuff but very expensive.

Bonpoint has an outlet shop at Bicester.

Harrods, John Lewis and Fenwick are worth checking out.

Petit Bateau worth looking at as the sale is on.

Caramel Baby - Westbourne Grove.

Baby Shop near Chelsea and Westminster.
