DP and I want to book a holiday now for the summer but our DD (DC2) won't be born until May. We think we know what her name will be but obviously won't be 100% until she is here and won't know her date of birth either. Anyone have any ideas about this? Its a foreign holiday so name will need to match passport.

How are you booking the holiday?, if with travel agent they will advise you, if independent or with Travel Republic etc think you need to talk to someone in person as opposed to doing it all on-line. I believe you can book with a plus infant (specifically for this situation) and let them know name etc asap. We are in same situation, but baby due in 3 weeks aagghh!!!!

I did this, and just told the company that I was pregnant and there would be an infant when i travelled. it was fine - I just notified them when baby was born.

I am a travel agent and the agency will just book it as infant x then your surname and you change it when the baby is born.

OOh yes please, so long as its hot and only about 2 hours flying time it will do. We are thinking somewhere like Majorca. Self catering, less than £800 all in. Any ideas?
