What colour bugaboo bee would you or have you choosen for your daughter? I quite like the pink but not too sure if it is abit over the top and bright?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I have pink, black and red hoods for mine and various footmuffs to go with, I think black and pink goes well as does the pink and off White. I think having te same colour hood and footmuff looks a bit ott.

Even if we knew the gender of our little one, I still wouldn't have bought pink - we have read instead and I would have considered blue as well as it is a really lovely blue colour.

We bought red,and our 2nd dc is a boy so it's ok for him too.my Bee is 3 years old now and not sure you can change the hoods on the old one.
Personally I rather like the pink, and with a contrasting colour like black for the footmuff.

Yes the hoods can be changed on all of the bugaboo models including the original bee :)

I wouldn't personally fancy the pink - remember you will be looking at it every day for several years! My friend has black hood, pink footmuff for her daughter, which work better I think. I have red hood with black footmuff, for a boy but I would use it for a second baby, whatever the gender.

We have black hood and pink footmuff. Goes v well. The pink hood is a bit dayglo.

Dylthan · 23/01/2011 12:24

We have the pink I like it Blush

Although someone did comment to my dh that it was a very pink colour for a man to be pushing.

OK, who else thought this was a baby name suggestion? Blush

I was about to post 'Are you mad, Bugaboo Bee is a terrible name for a child!'

cardamomginger · 23/01/2011 12:39

we chose charcoal base and sand hood etc for dd's chameleon. we deliberately wanted gender neutral and i am glad we made that choice. that said there's a few pink bugaboos where we live and they make me smile and cheer up the greyest of days! if you like the colour - go for it!

lilly13 · 23/01/2011 16:17

cobalt (bright blue). i hate pink.

trixie123 · 23/01/2011 19:25

someone told me that you should avoid the yellow one cos in the summer all the little black flies are attracted to it.
