I could cry (well I already have); I'm in soo much agony I feel like giving up!

I'm 39+5 and my pelvis is giving me the most excruciating pain I have ever felt! It feels like his head is lodged in and it hurts soooo much! I can't walk, sit, lie down without being in agony! I can't lift my legs, roll in bed I'm literally stuck in one position..

It started last night and I have no idea what's wrong. I've been told engagement but surely it can't hurt this bad?! I don't have an appointment til thursday as she's only ever in on a thursday which sucks!

What is it do you think?

Oh and in my last appointment he was 2/5ths engaged I was 38+2. Don't know if that makes a difference?

The pain is too much I can't take it anymore

If it's really that painful I think maybe it's a good idea to ring whoever your out of hours contact would be (ours is the labour ward at any gestation once booked) and explain to them what is happening.

I was very uncomfortable with DS3 just prior to going into labour and it did feel like he was incredibly low, but it wasn't painful.

Hope you can do something about it.

I'm 36 weeks and have been getting sharp pains for about a week - my mw measured me as 3/5 engaged last week. I don't know if my pains are anything like yours and mine come and go but I feel a sharp pain coming from the top of my uterus and when it comes I can't move and find it quite excrutiating. I look like I'm in labour if anyone sees me! But my pain is definately related to the baby moving in a certsain way - it's like she's pressing or rubbing on a nerve or sometrhing when she moves in a certain way. I get it now pretty much every day and sometimes several times a day from a few minutes to an hour on and off. My mw said to me this was OK so long as pain felt like it was due to baby moving and said it was normal, but, the pain you suggest is constant for a period of time I'm not sure is the same thing - I'd ring mw, or, if you can't get a mw before thurs ring the labour ward - they are used to people ringing up about things like that and will give you advice.
