hi, i'm a bit worried. I've just had a funny feeling and had to go to the loo (sorry tmi thought i should tell the whole story) there was a little browny clearish discharge when i wiped i'm 5 weeks plus 2. I've got the doctors on monday for my first appt. I thought i'd already had an implantation bleed, a pinky discharge last mon. What do think? A bit scared.

Hi there - I'm not in any way medical, but I'm pretty sure that brown = old blood, so not a problem. If it's a small amount and a one off, then probably just the remnants of an implantation bleed. Do try not to worry, talk to the doc about it at your appt though.

The problem with a healthy PG is so many of the symptoms are the same as for a MC. I found PG so stressful. I had a brown discharge at 4 weeks and then a bright red bleed every week from 7 to 12 weeks! I'm now sitting and nursing my 12 week old DD!
If you google it, it will probably scare the life out of you... So don't! Everytime I googles it said red blood was probably a mc, in case it wasn't at all.
Try and relax and maybe book in for a private scan at 7 weeks (no point earlier, they can't see much and that in itself may worry you more)
I found having private scans each time I bled hugely comforting.
An Nhs scan pre 12 weeks is 2 week wait in my area! So we paid out a fortune but well worth it!
Good luck.

Hello
I had that last week at 5+3
i had a midwife appt the very same day and mentioned it and she said it was perfectly normal and nothing to worry about Smile

have had none since

she said only to worry if its red blood and more than just a little bit of it

thank you. It eased off ever night but just went to the loo and there's some more a bit more brown and watery. I'll see what the doctor says tomorrow.
