Ok, this might be a silly question but can my baby feel if I am having a hot drink? I am 23 weeks pregnant and every time I drink a hot drink the baby moves, almost feels like it is jumping. It doesn't happen once the drink has cooled a bit but when it is quite hot. Just wondered if baby would be able to feel the heat or if it is just coincidental? I am not worried it is doing baby any harm or anything just curious?

yeah the baby can feel hot or cold drinks, and ice cream etc. don't worry!

If you feel less movement midwives will tell you to either have a hot sweet drink or a ice cold drink because they make the baby wake up. I can't drink cold drinks now because the baby just goes crazy and kicks none stop for hours the little monkey.
