Has anyone on here had a false negative...

i had a few negatives b4 i got a positive must have been from testing to early, my cycles r long so i must hav ovulated late

Can i ask how long jbells only mine are very long.

I was pg but tested negative on CD28 and CD32 didn't get a positive till I was CD36

id say anywhere between 33- 37 days

i was testing for over a week b4 i got positive as it was my first month of pill, but when im on pill it was every 28 days but normal cycle is around 35 if that makes sense

Tested this afternoon and bfn. was wondering if it was diluted

wow that is long, mine now sound very short its hard to know when u ovulate when u have cycles that are long and vary :(

Am also hoping for a postive yet getting negatives!

I've had lots of symptoms but I'm not sure if I've just imagined them now.

My false negative is asleep in his cot upstairs - aged 17 months. I got a positive result usinga First Response test at around 5 weeks, but when I went to the GP's (I know I know now you don't need to) he tested in the afternoon got a negative then lectured me and my hubby on why 'there are many reasons why your period may be late young lady'. He then told me if I got cramps it could be ectopic so get to the hospital asap. Really his bedside manner was THE best - I got cramps two days later and the hospital did confirm a perfectly normal pregnancy and I even got a hug from a lovely nurse.

Fingers crossed.

Any symptoms for you?

there must be something in the water, either that af must be on strike......still bfn but gotta see dr tomorrow

I've been feeling as I did with DS.
very tired
hungry but queasy
back pain
needing a wee
funny taste in mouth
tearful
etc etc.
So fed up.

I'm just clutching at straws and hoping test may have been false negative due to not testing till 1.30 this afternoon.

I didn't get a BFP with DD until i was 10 days late..

I am waking up very hungry but queasy too. Hunger goes on through day.

Very emotional.

But it the boobs. So bloody sore!

not wanting to hijack thread, but ive been to drs today. she advised me to act as if i am preg, ie no pills, no alcohol etc! she said my body obv believes i am preg, and if i got a bfp gr8, if its bfn (which it was) it is disregarded until i am ?6weeks preg (i.e. 2 weeks after due one date). so she has asked me to resubmit, if i dont have an af between now and a week on monday. if that then comes back neg she will examin and do blood tests. she did say it still sounds hopeful.

My af arrived today so a bit upset.

Thank you. Only got 4 more cycles then I will need to take a break as trying to fit it in with uni. Dont want to drop out of year but also dont want baby to be too young when returning iykwim

yep,it was too soon.i 'knew' i was pregnant so waited a week and tried again

I have as well. Didn't show as BFP until between 5 and 6 weeks. I knew I was though. Dh thought I was torturing myself with my optimism.
