First scan this morning!

Hi all just wanted to share I've got my 12week scan at 9am! Its about time I feel like I've been waiting for ages! I'm excited but nervous. I'll finally find out how far gone I am, when I'm due and just basically have it confirmed! Has anyone else felt nervous about going in and being told what are you playing at theres nothing there! I know its daft but being pregnant hasn't sunk in and I have this wee niggle that I'll get laughed at. God that sounds terrible I think my brain is mush anyway just wanted to share my first milestone. I'll let you all know how I got on. Fingers crossed everythings fine xx

It's normal for it not to sink in, don't think I believed it properly until baby was 17 or 18 weeks and kicking!

Aw, enjoy it. I know what you mean about worrying there's nothing there. I even felt like that after having to have two early scans! :o Have a lovely time and enjoy seeing wriggler on the screen. x

My fiance things I'm mental as he's estatic and in like uh-huh hopefully it'll sink in after I've seen it on the scan xx

I was so so nervous before mine, so the same reasons as you! But at the same time really excited - it was a potent mix of emotions which ended up with me blubbing with relief/joy the minute I saw my baby on the screen! It's amazing, I'm sure you'll come back absolutely buzzing. Enjoy, and let us know how you get on! :)

Ha ha what houbara feeling is very normal. I felt exactly like that before my first scan! I have now had 4 scans and am 34 weeks but I still can't get my head round the fact that there is a baby in there!

Hi all just thought id let you know that the scan was amazing! As soon as I seen the scan it sunk in and I'm now excited! The scan pics aren't very good as the little shit darling wouldn't stay still! Woman had a nightmare of a time taking measurements!
