Maternity clothes in Edinburgh

Does anyone know which shops in Edinburgh have a maternity section? Or where is good to go maternity clothes shopping? Desperately need to find some comfy jeans I can fit in to and starting to despair of wearing the same baggy jumpers/tunic tops over and over so decided to bite the bullet and have a wardrobe overhall.

I know that H&M on Princes Street and Kinnaird Park do... Top Shop Princes street but very small selection and Debenhams.. that's all I know for sure right now.

I'm in same boat and city! I was going to phone round as some branches of next should have a mat section...hopefully!!

the bigger next at the west end of princes street does - i know this because it's the only next with a petite section and the maternity section is right next to it (downstairs) - i keep wandering in by mistake.

Gap on Princes Street too. Generally there is not much choice in Edinburgh though, you might want to shop online a bit.

Next in Craigleith Park have a small maternity section and also New Look in the same place.

I have found Mothercare is pretty naff. There is also JoJo Maman Bebe over in St James place which have a small maternity.

I am due in June and have a couple of hand me downs that I'm wearing but I am desperate for a pair of jeans so if anyone finds anything decent please let me know too :)

I got lots of lovely stuff from Red Herring in Debenhams. It was in Dundee but there are Debenhams everywhere! Got the most comfortable pair of jeans I've EVER worn from there!!

I'd recommend a trip to Livingston Retail village if you have a car, there's a Mamas and Papas outlet that sells maternity clothes and the Next outlet has some too. It's a bit hit or miss but I got really nice trousers from M&P for £10 and a lovely green T from Next for £2!

Other than that the Dorothy Perkins in Craigleith has some stuff too.

Thanks for the ideas, will let you know if I find anything good! Will probably order some stuff online but after sending the 4th pair of jeans back this week as they just didn't fit or feel right think I'd better actually try some on!

Craigleith is definately the best for the most choice with Next, Dorothy Perkins and New Look all stocking a good selection of maternity clothes. I've found Dorothy Perkins to have the best fitted clothes. Jojo Maman Bebe on Multrees walk has a pretty good selection and has a really good sale on at the moment.

PrettyPregnant is an outlet store as well as the shop, so they nearly always have some really good bargains in - a lot of the stuff is expensive to start with, but I got a huge pile of sale things when I was pregnant for a massive discount, including a really gorgeous dress that I would never have thought of buying otherwise but which I got loads of wear out of. Really cheered me up, actually - definitely worth a visit.

If u are ok with second hand the pregnancy and parent centre (formerly birth resource centre) on lower gilmore place (tollcross way) has rails of second hand maternity stuff upstairs donated to them ( including newborn clothes). Think they ask for a token donation as they r a charity but u can find some ok comfy stuff including jeans.
