well, come and make me feel better lol! even though have generally felt much better in this pregnancy than with ds i just havent hardly been doing any exercise at all.

mainly as am just generally busy, still at work 3-4 days a week then got all normal house jobs to do plus looking after an active toddler, so no time really to do anything. by time dh comes home at 7pm am far too knakered to head out again to do anything! also am now 30 wks so getting bit harder to move around anyway.

have been swimming a few times but nothing like before becoming pg.

its just so nice this time to have no sickness or spd that it seems too much to do anything! nice to chill and enjoy beong pregnant.

have just been feeling a bit guilty as feel like i should be doing something iykwim?

anyway was just hoping i wasnt the only one!!

No, you're not the only one - I consider carrying around my 10+kg toddler exercise enough. I'm only 10 weeks, though, and wondering how I'm going to manage it further along.
Congrats on your pregnancy by the way!

trixie123 · 19/01/2011 19:33

nope, have done naff all. With DS1 I was still working full time so could afford the ridiculous membership fees of a lovely gym with lovely pool that I used a lot but that had to go with SMP and part time work and wouldn't be able to do it now anyway with DS1 a toddler (even the creche there is £5 an hour on top of the membership) and similarly not keen on going later when DP gets in cos we want time together. Have vowed to worry about after the birth and sort myself out then!

brizzagirl · 19/01/2011 19:45

Same here am 17 weeks and have done nothing since I found out at 5 weeks but like the other posts am back working full time and carrying around 30 pound toddler at weekends! Not too worried, trying to walk as much as possible and enjoy the pregnancy Hmm and worry about the weight and fitness later. Don't feel guilty!

I too have done zero exercise this time around - last time I was running 3 times a week until 20 weeks, swimming and doing pilates as well as working full-time BUT no toddler.

Now working 3 days a week and have a 20 month old to run around after - too knackered to think about doing anything at the end of the day apart from the bare essentials.

I'm due in July so have already made my new year's resolution for January 2012 (6 months after due date) to get fit and skinny again Grin - until then, CAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE.

jenga079 · 19/01/2011 19:49

Nothing. Nada. Zilch. I'm so tired I can barely walk to the local shop let alone exercise. In fact, right now I am running a bath because a shower feels like too much effort!!

soppypreggyloon · 19/01/2011 19:49

Me too!
I swam a bit while pg with ds1 but zero now. However my 2 stone ds is very active and I can still lift him for short periods so my arms have never been stronger!
I'm hoping bf will make me shrink fast like last time. I was my slimmest ever! :)
My mum reckoned she was never fitter than when she had me and dsis to chase!

jimmijam · 19/01/2011 20:15

big fat 0!!! Job, 2 toddlers, knackered. think i'll skip it 4 now

yummytummy · 19/01/2011 21:42

excellent, thats great to hear! looks like exercise is a luxury of first time mums then. good to know everyone with toddlers is the same! am off to eat a chocolate mousse now yay!

i havent either but i have put on far less weight this time round. with a toddler there isnt time to lie down wallowing in pregnancy tiredness.. i have to play cars, hoover under beds, find toys, run across car parks in the rain and so on.

also dh's hours are so long i am still doing all housework and getting up with ds every morning, going for walks so he can rest etc.

i finish work on friday and i think i may go into total pregnancy zone then and collapse but i am still in my normal jeans at 36 weeks with the buttons turned down. i have def put on weight but i feel much fitter with this pregnancy!

xxx

sam26oscar · 19/01/2011 22:26

well, i have no excuse, my Ds is 6 and at school i only work 2 days a week but do you know what..... I hate exercise, didn't do it before and don't intend to do it after either!!! Was a size 10-12 before got pg with DS1 and same with this too. Am 40 now and can honestly say couldn't give a rats arse Grin Grin

stegasaurus · 20/01/2011 06:55

I'm not doing any, and I didn't before I got pregnant either. I didn't and still don't have the time or the energy around my shifts at work. And this is my first pregnancy so I don't have the excuses that all of you have or the added exercise of running round after a toddler.

ecuse · 20/01/2011 09:37

I'm not and I don't have the excuse of a toddler either :(

Just can't summon up the energy. 27 weeks now and never came across that mythical second trimester energy burst.
