Asthmatics with bad heartburn?

Are there any other asthmatic mum's to be that are getting really relly bad heartburn? I am and this is making my asthma worse than it has been for years :-( I had a full blown attack on Friday and have just coughed and wheezed so much I was sick- at 26/40 I'm well passed the sickness stage!

I wondered if anyone else has had to step up their asthma medication or take a lot of reflux medication like omeprazole or ranitidine? I hate taking medicines but I'm so worried about what will happen if baby doesn?t get enough oxygen!

I can relate but my asthma and heartburn sound milder than yours (I'm 16+3). I am taking my preventor and ventolin more but it doesn't always seem to help.

With the heartburn, I am constantly chewing antacids. I have found giving up bread has helped, not sure why and have no idea if this would work for you.

My asthma is much worse in the winter, too, maybe that's a factor?

Not too helpful, sorry, but just wanted you to know you're not alone.
