Stupid question - could this have been a kick?!!

I'm currently 15+5wks pg with DC2. I think I've felt a few flutters of movement before tonight, but haven't been 100% sure and they weren't massive.

Tonight, while sitting on the sofa, I felt quite a large movement - a little bit like a pop, a little bit like a kick - and if it had been lower down and a little bit later in pregnancy, I would def have called it a kick. But it was just above my belly button, slightly to the right. And much stronger than any movement so far, if indeed I have felt movement.

I've actually been worried I haven't felt anything more definite until today, because I'm sure I'd felt something more by now with DS, so maybe I just really want to feel it? It's too high to be a kick, right?

I can't believe I'm asking such a stupid question with my second pregnancy but I really want your opinions! Thanks!

How exciting! Above the belly button would make me wonder if it wasn't digestion-related, but I'd still be excited too! And I do think it's normal to feel second ones earlier than the first..

Yes, probably digestion related.

I'd heard it was normal to feel the second earlier, which is why I thought I would have felt something more definite by now. Still, everyone's different I suppose!

Thanks for answering!

Just realised I've essentially posted on MN that I've had wind. Time for another name change methinks!!
