Ok, so apparently these are hard to find!!!! I want a pair of dark (for obv reasons), comfy pyjamas for hospital and after. Prob is i'm 6ft so long length or 3/4 length ones be good so they arent flapping around the ankles. Nada in Primark, BHS, La Senza, Next etc and havent been able to see much online either. I dont really want to spend lots and if they are specific nursing ones then great but not even that bothered about that.....

Well, my MIL bought me some rather fetching Disney pjs in black and red for christmas - red mickey mouse top, black bottoms. They are not maternity ones but seeing as she bought me size 16 and I'm a size 10 there is plenty of room in there and the pants are very long. They came from the disney store. Not really my style but Ive been wearing the bottoms with a pink top - makes it a bit more acceptable!

freshmint · 18/01/2011 15:39

hush if you want a treat www.hush-uk.com

The NCT shop has navy cotton ones. I bought the extra small and I'm tripping over them (am only 5'5" though). Perhaps bigger sizes come up even longer?

bootus · 18/01/2011 15:58

Thanks all.....Long Tall Sally NEVER seem to have my size in stock plus tbh I think their stuff is overpriced and grannified....not that it matter with pyjamas I guess...Grin. My local Sainsburys only has a teeny clothes bit but I will look in Tesco and i'll have a look at Hush.

Try Next, they do a small selection of pyjamas in tall sizes and not too expensive either.

wigglesrock · 18/01/2011 18:11

I've just bought a navy pair in Next - navy 3/4 length trousers, striped navy and white long length sleeveless vest (nautical theme!!) £18. They're not maternity, just size bigger than I normally wear.

CuppaTeaJanice · 18/01/2011 18:16

Why don't you just get men's pyjama bottoms and wear them with a womens vest top? Peacocks had some nice plain dark ones - really soft.

If you get mens 'lounge pants' rather than 'pyjama bottoms' you won't even have to sew up the willy hole!!

fallingandlaughing · 18/01/2011 19:01

New Look tall does good jogging bottoms in the Tall range.

Just wanted to let you know my mum just picked up for me dark coloured pjs from M&S. Just came in today £9.50 (just in normal pj range)

diyqueen · 19/01/2011 19:30

Got some really comfy black pj bottoms in Asda the other day - really soft and with a really soft and stretchy waistband.

NIPPOLOPOLIS · 19/01/2011 19:37

I bought these here when pregnant with my third. Pricey but so lovely! They have plenty of length in the leg.

Pootle78 · 19/01/2011 19:57

I got some lounge pants from Matalan and they are too long for me and I am 5ft 10. Also got some tracky bottoms from Asda with stretch waistband as someone else mentioned which are a good length.
