advice on labour ladiees!

right im now 37 weeks.
today iv had crampy period like pains all day and lower back pain but nothing else. just finished up my hospital bags for the third time,, and just feeling kind of strange really, like wide awake after being shattered for days.
baby has barely moved today, but still moved a few times throughout the day.
this is my first baby, and im overweight. is there an increased risk of my baby being born early? or are all these things im feeling normal?

Could be something, could be nothing. Sorry, I know that is no help! FWIW my labour started with mild backache and period type pains. Probably 8 hours or so before I could start timing recognisable contractions.

As for being overweight, I am sure that I read somewhere that women who are overweight are more likely to go overdue (although I could be completely wrong!).

Whatever happens, rest up as much as you can now, just in case!
