DH has been asked to go to a meeting in Copenhagen just over a week before my due date. He'll only be gone for one day and night but he won't be able to get home if there's an emergency. He's asked if he should not go and I'm not really sure Confused DD was 11 days late so I'm not expecting this one to show up early. What do you think?

Do you have a mum or sister who could stay with you on that night, just in case?

personally I wouldn't want him to go, and he wouldn't either obv you know term is from 37-42 weeks even though your last baby was late it doesn't mean this one will be.
If he does go then you must make sure you will be ok without him at the birth and maybe make alternative plans if he was going to be your birth partner etc..

ask him to move the meeting to a late morning/early afternoon so that he can fly there in the am and be back at night. there are lots of flights to copenhagen per day... my husband has been doing many of such trips ever since i fell pregnant. it is tiring, but manageable.

Thanks :) Think I will tell him not to go, I do have other help but I wouldn't want him to miss out!
