Arguments against ECV?

Hi all,

I'm 32+4 and my LO is currently breech (and has been for weeks as far as I can tell from kicking etc.). I know there's plenty of time for her to turn of her own accord and/or with some help but we're also thinking about ECV and ELCS options.

I've read a couple of things that suggest that ECV, even if successful, might not be great because the baby might just be happier breech and turning her might not be the right thing.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

I know there have been a couple of ECV threads recently, which have been really helpful in explaining what happens/what it feels like, but I'd really like to hear if there are any arguments against ECV.

Thanks!

I would like to know as well so am answering to bump the thread lol. I'm only 27+3 but baby is happily transverse, and I know it has time to turn, but seeing as youngest son kept turning all the way through and was transverse, but this stays in the same position, don't think its likely.
