Hormone Injection After Miscarriage

First time posting so please excuse any mistakes.

I have a wonderful 4 year old boy but have sadly suffered 4 miscarriages since. During the difficult and horrible times I often read threads about pregnancies and miscarriages, which often helped, but I never posted.

After the 3rd miscarriage, tests were done but everything came back normal. After the 4th miscarriage, I was offered a weekly HCG hormone injection (and weekly scan from 6 weeks)for my next pregnancy. My miscarriages had all been between 5 and 13 weeks and so the injection was to support the pregnancy through the early stages.

I am now lucky enough to have a beautiful 6 week old boy. I am sure this is only because I had hormone injections and scans from 4 weeks to 13 weeks and this made a real difference.

I hope that my story will help others who have suffered first trimester miscarriages by giving hope and raising awareness of the injection. If I had known about it I would have asked about it earlier and really pushed for it after my 3rd.
