I have a bit of a long winded question. i am 11weeks pregnant with first child. I called Wishaw maternity yesterday to check when my first scan would be as DH due to go away for work around 14weeks. Was told would be next wed at wishaw - excellent really pleased quicker than expected but still waiting on letter to conform.
Today arriving home from work letter from Hairmyers hospital for a scan in 3weeks time. Have no idea why I have two different scans and two different hosp can anyone shed any light?
Mind working overtime perhaps something wrong? could something have shown up in bloods? please be honest if you know why this would be the case or is it a simple mistake?

I am in Edinburgh and I was told at my 12 week scan that my next scan could be at one of three or four locations in Edinburgh, so to check where it was carefully.

Could this be the case for you too? Perhaps they share the workload??

Hi Witches, I have had all my care at Wishaw General - Hairmyres do not have a maternity department (although i'm not sure if they offer scans). I would phone scanning department at Wishaw to confirm incase it has been an error as even if something had shown in bloods, Wishaw would deal with this. Let me know how you get on.

Thanks for the replies, I will probably wait to see if i get a written confirmation from wishaw in next few days. On the letter from Hairmyers it says its for an ultrasound scan and to go to maternity day assessment unit. I am probably equi distance from both so wondering if maybe been a mix up which to send me to - hope so and nothing is wrong.Confused
