20 week showed that my placenta is lying across my cervix. Have been booked in for another scan at 34 weeks to check that it has moved and been advised that if it hasn't I will need a c-section.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this and if it did move in time or not.

Can you iron while lying on the sofa reading trashy magazines, if the answer is no, I think you've answered your own question Wink Good luck

Thanks everyone... I must admit I am suprises no one I've seen/spoken to has warned me about the slight risk of bleeding, even if the chances are minimal. I'm so glad I posted, I would be terrified had I not been forewarned and I do end up bleeding!

Is it a problem that the baby was breech at the scan? I've always thought at 20 weeks they're still doing somersaults?

I'm now compiling a list of questions to take with me when I see the midwife! I also had LLETZ treatment last year (and had complications afterwards), which I've read can lead to premature birth. I'm going to be on edge for the rest of this pregnancy now!

I have a low lying placenta to hopefully it has moved since the last scan as my next 36 week appointment is only 2 weeks away. I have also been advised that a c section might be required.

Ah, good luck bump! Have you had any bleeding?
