They are covered in blue veins and feel itchy inside.

I haven't been pregnant for donkey's years so have no idea if this is normal.

I have no idea when I am due on (period every 4-6 weeks, and it is so light normally it only last half a day, is blibnk and you will miss it) and had my last period in middle of December I think.

This will teach me for having the regular 'don't you bloody get pregnant' chat with dd yesterday during One Born Every Minute.

I know I should get a test but gawd knows if it is too early or not, plus it is pissing down and I can't be arsed to go to the shops.

well?

GetOrfMoiLand · 12/01/2011 20:39

Oh GOD!!!! I just pissed myself Grin at this - 300+ posts!

Now I am really going to piss you off because I did do the test but the result was inconclusive.

I either pissed too much or pissed too little or didn't put the stick flat straight away afterwards.

So - me and DP sat there glaring at the bloody thing - there is a horizontal line in the preg window but FRIG ALL in the control window.

So I still don't know!

And I had 2 go to 4 shops to get the test.

Sainsbos - had dd with me so couldn't buy it.

Morrisons - went there on way home, couldn't find tests, asked a boy with frankly baked bean coloured hair who looked frightened and couldn't find them.

Tesco garage at top of road - they have them behind the counter, I was served by a regualar woman (I use this shop all the time), so I bottled it and bought a bottle of tesco own brand Malibu (called Cococabana Hmm) instead. I don't even like fucking Malibu.

Asda - went there especially and bought a clear blue for £7 sodding pounds. Didn't want to buy el cheapo version cos thought the clearblue would be more reliable (huh).

SO will have to buy another one in the morning.

I am SORRY everyone but lolol at you all.

But be kind. I have just had half an hour of DP muttering 'can't you piss straight on a stick' at me.

Thinkofanumber · 12/01/2011 20:42

This is why you should always buy a two pack!

deemented · 12/01/2011 20:42

Snort Grin

You'll just have to bottle your FMU and dip afterwards. And then come and post here.

Just don't do what i did - put it in an old Mcdonalds milk bottle, leave it on the side and then have DS2 tell me a little later 'Mammy, this milk tastes funny'...

GetOrfMoiLand · 12/01/2011 20:43

I am sorry

Yeah, don't look too closely at the wings on a A380, they're probably not straight either.

Get yourself back to the shop. Even better, send DP, he wants to know nearly as much as us!!

WanderingSheep · 12/01/2011 20:43

MayorNaze · 12/01/2011 20:44

thefirstMrsDeVere · 12/01/2011 20:45

O FFS! I cant do mumsnet at work so will have to wait till I get home tommorow!!! What kind of a woman cant pee on a bloody stick right?!

Cant you send OH out for another. Tell him he has to because Mumsnet says so.

GetOrfMoiLand · 12/01/2011 20:45

Is it better in the morning then, does that stil hold true?

Look when I was pregnant with dd you had to piss in the tiniest little plastic tub known to man and stand the stick in it.

All this new fangled piss on stick caper is too much to ask.

And oi at you lot who thought I was old. How can you think I am old? Do I smell of winter mixture of something?

G Blush

piratecat · 12/01/2011 20:47

peeing on a stick is precarious, best to pee in a cup and dip the stick as it were.

so the control was zilch but the pg bit had a line?

HOW!!??
