Lansdell Suite at St Thomas

I had dd at the Lansdell years ago and am hoping to have LO2 there too. Overall the experience was wonderful but there was a very strange period in the middle of my pg where the MWs disappeared for a while.

Has anyone given birth there recently with the mid wife led care team?

I am planning to have dc2 there in the summer and was told that they don't do midwife-led care anymore (although all their brochures still refer to it confusingly!)

That is interesting. The midwifery team wrote to us last year suggesting there section may be closed but then I understood from the literature it was staying open.

Has anyone used it recently?

I'll be upset if it has closed. They were fantastic and visited me at home / in the office for every prenatal check.
