Silly questions about swine flu jab I had

I had mine on fri am. The bloody nurse just jabbed me without warning and then I bled like a stuck pig!

Anyhow I have a bright blue bruise and my arm still feels like it's been punched really hard! I can't sleep on my left (my favoured side) because of it.

Is this normal for a flu jab? I haven't been vaccinated against anything for 15 years almost! (I think)

Poor ds no wonder he needed all that calpol when he had immunisations!

poor you! Mine started hurting about 18 hrs later leading me to think i had got away without any side effects, but yes, arm did hurt for couple of days but small price to pay after listening to all the news reports about the swine flu.

I also had mine fri am - I have a tiny bump on my arm but it's fine. My mum had hers at the same time and said hers was really sore and is still feeling bruised.
I think both are normal, it does make you feel sorry for the babies though doesn't it!
