Feeling really lonely - Any SW London meetups?

I haven't many friends with babies. Well, at least, the ones that have babies, aren't anywhere near to me.

My Mum is in Cyprus as my Nan has just died, I feel so alone. Are there any regular meet ups in the SW London Area - I'm in Wimbledon.

Anyone fancy a coffee? LOL - I'm juat about to turn 18 weeks :)

I found the antenatal boards really helpful and also met up with a few people in my area.

I hated being pregnant I felt rubbish, good to have a moan to other pregnant women in the same boat.

Mumsnet is great, I found it last year

love the one for my due month - makes me feel a bit more sane to know i'm not the only one going through this.

Also - try mumsnet local for people in your area, another good way of finding people.

and in a few weeks, you should get details for ante natal classes in rl from your GP or midwife which is great for meeting people too.

Hi Swannny yup Leila and I are meeting up on Tuesday..(shhhh quite nervous...never meet up with anyone online..!! )

Lots of us in the same boat...I start NCT tomorrow so hopefully I'll meet some nice people there too..I'll let you know what it's like, after 20 weeks (IMO) it goes really quickly and before you know it pop pop pop baby!

The Putney and Fulham NCT do a meet up called Speed Bumps on the first Wednesday (I think) of each month. It's an opportunity to meet other pregnant women. I found it great. Contact the NCT for details.

That's cool. I've joined the NCT - I'll be going tot he Wimbledon and Wandsworth one. Maybe I can come to that one though. How far along are you Snowfalls108?
