Hi,
I really should know this stuff seeing as I already have 1 DS Blush but in my defence it was 4 1/2 years ago and I am suffering with severe baby brain at present!

I know exactly what to get for LO but cant think of the things I will need for hospital and after. I couldnt breastfeed last time so didnt buy anything to do with that either but will hopefully be able to this time so need know what I need.

Many thanks in advance! x

Grin I am in the same boat but re everything. And was only 2.5 years ago so no excuse really!

For baby: have just bought a new changing mat and bath fabric support thing-y. Gonna get some more muslins (No IDEA where they have disappeared to)

I think I need a sleep bra or two... Dig out the bf pump. Lansinoh (though didn't actually use much last time). Maternity/cheap pads and breast pads. Tons (I used reusables and bits of old cloth a lot though). Was very indiscreet bfing out and about but may attempt the one top over vest-top thing this time...

er... chocolate/food/etc for the house?

Humungous pants

Nighties that have poppers up the front are quite useful, especially if you have to stay in hospital.

Comfy socks

get some food into the freezer so you don't have to cook for the first few weeks; tops you can feed in if that's what you end up doing (think about if you want to pull the top up or down, I always preferred down so my midriff wasn't on show); lots of tea and biscuits ready for visitors and you; thank you cards - it took me ages to find some I liked and by then we'd lost track of who'd bought us what.

Adair I bought a pack of 5 muslins in Sainsbury's today.

lowra · 06/01/2011 19:50

Adair just realised you meant you didn't know where your muslins have gone, rather than thought they had disappeared from the shops Blush
