...will I be able to sleep on my front again?

I mean I know logically, I will be getting very little sleep with a newborn, but at least I can hope that the odd hour I snatch here and there will be comfortable.

Am planning on BF so don't know how much boobs will affect this?

if you don't have a caesarian then right away. i did.

i was bf too and just lay on my side to feed. when my milk came in it was too painful to sleep on my front but when it settled down it was ok again.

LOL, sorry, I'm honestly not a stalker, but you have no idea how much of a relief that is!

I couldn't lie on my front for the first few months as the pressure triggered letdown and we'd be swimming in milk within minutes.

It took me a few weeks but that's because I had an csection. But despite this, I was considerably more comfortable even with a section wound!

It took a couple of weeks after DD, sore boobs just got in the way. But it doesn't feel that much longer after months of it anyway!

If you put a pillow under your chest but below your boobs, then you can sleep on your front with your boobs hanging in the gap IYSWIM. Wear a well fitting non-underwired bra - that also helps. And at the beginning, you might want a towel under your boobs to catch drips/leaks/floods! Can you tell I was desperate to sleep on my front.

camdancer I was wondering about rigging something like that! Also desparate, after months of night-time wandering the house trying to find somewhere I can get more than 20 minutes of sleep!
