I went to hospital new years eve with lower back pain and my tummy contracting. It had been going on for about 4 hours. I went and when I got there found out no information had been filled in on my form for them to see. I had no idea I have moved from one area to another when I was 16 weeks pregnant. Im now 27 weeks. I saw the midwife yesterday and I asked her ti fill in the form (as that is what the hospital said to do) she did not seem happy that it had not been filled in. I had no results. She went onto the system and there were no results there either I have had 3 lots of blood taken and no results. So took them again yesterday. I also asked about other stuff she was off with me. Since I have moved here I have had to chase up everything they dont seem to care and I have yet to meet my midwife (who is named on my notes) she is always busy or sick. The midwife then said I need an appt in two weeks to take measurements and to check bloods are back. She did not know how to do it so went to reception she said there are no appts for 3 weeks so you will have to come then in a rude tone she then said Im going to get show that midwife how to book appts seen as she cant do it. I have been fobbed off all the time so far have had to request things like thyroid tests each trimester (as I have underactive tyroid) I used to work in blood sciences and micorbiology in hospitals and that is the only reason I picked some of the stuff up. I did think the results would be on the system though?! She said maybe I should thinkg of a home birth (as I have 5 yr old we might have trouble getting child care) she does not even know the risk factors as there are none in the notes and my last birth was not smooth!!
