Anyone else with Hypermobility?

I was wondering if there was anyone else here with hypermobility?
If you have had babies already, what was your labour like? When my DS descended through my pelvis, the bones just literally came apart, and I had a 19 minute second stage during which I pushed exactly once, very gently. But that descent... oh god, the pain of the bones coming apart! Has anyone else had anything like that?

My mum is hypermobile, and her second labour lasted all of 30 minutes, first was 6 hours. My first was 4 1/2, and thankfully I'm booked for a homebirth with this one.

soo, any other freaks like me out there? :o

I have quite severe hypermobility and in my first pregnancy I was in a wheelchair for a few months because I got severe SPD and couldn't walk at all.

Both kids were caesarians as I had other complications though so I can't say how it would have worked out otherwise.

We are not freaks we are just bendy Wink

my best friend used to say that until she saw me wringing out my fingers after washing my hands. lol.

severe SPD sounds horrible. I didn't have that problem last time, only have mild SPD this time, but my coccyx dislocates and sometimes gets stuck, and nerves get trapped in my hips quite easily, especially when I sit down (in which case it can go from me not feeling my legs at all to excruciating pain) or when I pick up my DS.

I am a 9. And I quite often dislocate my shoulders if I leave them hanging over the side of the bed at night. First time I slept with DH (then DP) I dislocated my hip Blush.

Stunningly romantic...not! Grin

oh that's gross, but hilarious :o the shoulder dislocation, I mean. The hips just a little.
I sleep curled up in a ball with my knees by my shoulders, normally. Now I'm pregnant it's more with one knee pretty much on top of my shoulder, resting on a pillow.
