I know the obvious answer to this should be to contact midwife, but seeing as I'm on the computer... I'm 26 weeks, having braxton hicks every day, through out the day. Should I be concerned?
I tested positive for IUGR (Inter-uterine growth retardation) and risk of pre-term labour at my 20 week scan. Seeing I have had 2 perfectly normal pregnancies and deliveries before, I'm not overly worried - just wondered if any one else has had the same experience? Thanks

im nearly 26 weeks and ive been getting them loads too through the day i just get the odd few but then come night they start every 5 mins for a good 3 hours. same as you im not sure if its normal either as i didnt get them with my 1st till about 30 weeks. ive also been loosing my mucus plug for 4 weeks now too. but my midwife never gives me any answers, so ive given up hope on asking her

Thanks for that - maybe its all perfectly normal. I'm surprised your midwife won't shed any light on the mucus plug issue though.

doctor just said dont worry it grows back but it just seems as soon as it grows back i start loosing it again. i was 41 weeks when i started loosing it last time, so its pretty scary this early lol

my mw said that if you have more than one per hour you should call the mw or gp.
when I had a shit day at work (around 30w) and many contractions as a result the mw advised me to rest in bed with the feet up and to take magnesium.
