I'm 37weeks today and got an email from "Bounty Portait" here

It looks like they come to the hospital and take professional photos of your baby. They look great - has anyone had experience of using them? Any thoughts on this?

Hi, yes, I've got one and it's lovely!!

They came around the ward in the morning and took one of my baby girl in her crib, and then one of me holding her. I felt like I would look awful after two nights of no sleep, messy hair etc but they were gorgeous. Lady next to me had a photo of her hand and baby's hand, just holding each other.

I think the whole package was £50 or so although I had just the basic package at £30 plus £10 for an extra print.

I thought it was quite expensive at the time and went along with it because everyone else seemed to be jumping at the chance. I'm so glad I did because when they came they were beautiful!

Lulabel - make sure you look at your baby before they take the picture. I didn't. When the photos arrived of my DD there was a HUGE bogey poking out of one nostril. I was so disappointed, I had to send them all back. Can't believe the photographer didn't notice at the time though.
